It's baffling to me how a test that was always meant to be 'anonymous' can ever be traced back to who came up positive.
And I don't give A-rod any credit for the admission, or Andy Petitte for that matter, because they only came clean once they were already exposed.
The apology is just a PR move to make the story go away quicker, instead of people constantly hounding him like Bonds or the others.
I love Gammons, but he should have pushed him on 'what were you taking'? While he may 'not know exactly', there is no way he 'doesn't know at all', not with the high level of nutrition and everything else that these high end athletes pay attention to.
Can we get a show called 'A-rod on a-rod' now?
As far as all the numbers, the Hall of Fame stuff, etc etc... well, I don't care that much. If everyone is juicing, did Bonds and A-Rod just get the good stuff? If Jason and Jeremy Giambi are both guilty, did Jeremy get the watered down stuff?
And the last question always has to be 'in 20 years, will we be seen as primitive for not allowing our athletes to do this things to enhance their performance'? That doesn't change that they ARE ILLEGAL now... but it's somehow worth mentioning.
