All of the sudden, you see these people start cheering for the Rays. I guess that's what you would expect because it's a "feel good story". With that said, I really like the way Joe Madden handles himself. I think he'd be a good guy to play for.
As a corollary, Go Marlins!

Yeah Chris, remember how many Marlins fans there suddenly were during October 1997 and October 2003? These new "Rays fans" will fill up the stadium this week and next season they'll still be drawing 15,000 per night at the Trop.
It's going to be interesting to see if all the time off is going to help or hurt the Phillies. I think it's going to be a good series.

I stand by the fact that I had season tickets with my dad from '94-'98 and I am a true Marlins fan, of which you won't find many. Hell, I watched about 80% of their games this summer when I was living in Clearwater. (It's nice having a channel that plays them away from South Florida...)
