I think if OK State upsets either Texas or Oklahoma and Dez Bryant has a big game, he'll at least make the trip to New York.
While the Heisman voters are uncreative, they also don't want to have the same 3 sitting there again. They'll need at least someone new to keep everyone interested.
Good analysis of your other players. If one of the big three has an off year or gets injured, I think Jahvid Best is the most likely to steal an invitation to New York in December. He will be almost as fun to watch as Desean Jackson was for Cal a couple years ago.
I love the three-headed monster at Oklahoma State. That season opener against Georgia will light up the scoreboard. Hunter and Bryant will get their stats this season, but so, too, will Robinson, who will also get credit for the wins so maybe he unseats a McCoy or a Bradford.
Lastly, I'd say Troy Smith's stellar season for an undefeated Ohio State team -- and not Darren McFadden's sophomore class status -- was what cost McFadden the trophy. Smith was a dominant quarterback for a team that beat two No. 2 squads in the same regular season.

Are you unsure about the use of the word "smarters"?
Because I noticed the typo, then left it because it made it funnier. At least to me.
Or do you not think we're any smarter than we were in 2006?
I would say we are, as people finally have started to give the SEC some of the respect it deserves. I would say that they aren't all the way there yet, as someone always has to write something debating conference strength, and there is really no contest.
Unless you're talking about the American Football Conference or National Football Conference.
And even then, the lowest teams in the SEC have been:
- Mississippi State, who's at least made an appearance in the conference title game.
- Ole Miss, who hasn't, but is expected to this year, and at any rate is a top 10 team.
- Vanderbilt, who has won a bowl game a lot more recently than Oklahoma or Ohio State
- Kentucky, ditto, and also has won 3 bowls in a row and made 4 in the last 10 years.
Compare that to the recent history of the bottom NFL teams (Raiders, Lions, Browns, etc) and you could make an argument that the SEC has more parity than the two conferences in the NFL.
Yeah, people still don't fully understand the SEC. Somehow it's still underrated, even with the huge media attention it is now getting.
