Finally, someone who saw the same game as I did..... I concur with your ref comments, I also thought that Tenn's D-Line also dominiated wrt pass rush.... the 5-wide formation never works with a team that has a great pass rush.... and Tebow was hurried all day.... Crompton couldn't pass deep.... Kentucky does not have that problem.....
In all fairness, Kentucky does not have a pass rush that is comparable to Tennessee. Also, they are much more of a passing team than Tennessee is, so they'll be airing it out a lot more. I think our strength is our pass defense, so it plays in our favor this weekend.
The game was not nearly as close as the score ended up being. Tebow uncharacteristically fumbles inside the five. If that doesn't happen, Florida is up 30-6. Urban even said that he modified the offense once he noticed that Tennessee was burning the clock. I don't think we should worry about our offense as much as we are. Deonte will be back this week, and Aaron Hernandez & Demps will be over their cases of the flu. We'll be fine.
