One more update:

In ESPN's 'College Basketball confidential' (here), where they anonymously polled current college basketball players some Gator-ish themes popped up... It's an insider article, so I'll list the Gator-centric stuff here:

Q3 was about noticing opponent's cheerleaders... Florida tied for 7th in being mentioned in this category, behind Oregon and FSU and tied with Arkansas and FIU. When I typed FSU, I thought of the 'My New Haircut' guy and the phrase 'fuckin skanks'.

Q9 was the 'best program' question. UNC won in a landslide, Florida tied for 8th with a lot of teams, including more traditional hoops schools Arizona and UConn. Wouldn't have seen that coming a decade ago.

Q10 was the 'most overrated program' question. We tied for 3rd with UCLA (funny, we were both in the same Final Fours recently, probably justifying our 'rating'. Duke and UK were only teams above us.

Q14 was the 'smartest coach' question, didn't see Donovan's name but former assistant Anthony Grant was listed as tied for 10th.

Q15 was "who was the last coach you'd play for" and Billy D tied for 8th with Pitino, Roy Williams, and many others. The surveyors mentioned they left out a lot of write-ins for Bob Knight, Kelvin Sampson, etc. But the inclusion of Donovan is a little curious, but judging by some of the other guys mentioned it's clear there's a percentage of players who just don't want to work hard to be good players. And that Billy D's attitude toward one-and-done guys could have made him less popular with a small percentage of players.

I love that article about Percy. He's a good kid. I don't know why he gets such a weird bad-rap? They got him playing just about any sort of position that touches the ball.
