Maybe it's just me, but the robbery w/ a deadly weapon charge would cause me to reconsider my offer to a guy. That's sad to me, though. This crushes the public perception of the kid already. Shameful, but good on the Gators for withdrawing.
Since posting this, I've heard rumors that the coaching staff was unhappy that Dorsey was somehow not honest with them about the charges.
Again, I don't know the seriousness of these charges, or when the case was closed, or what. But I have to think there's a correlation between this data and the way UF backed off in their commitment. If that was because the charges scared them, or because of the way Dorsey handled them, I don't really know.
Any other information from some of you guys would be greatly appreciated.
