Postgame, on twitter, some were arguing about the importance of this game:
Is this the biggest win since the 2007 title?
I think Michigan State is, because of how high they were ranked, and it set the tone for the season (gave Gators fans optimism, when know one knew what to expect this season)...
As far as 'most dominant'... we close them out extremely well, but it's nowhere near what I'd say a 'dominant' win was. The way we beat Vandy last year- a team better than us (they: NCAA Tourney; we: NIT), on the road... by much more of a blowout, I'd have to choose that win as 'most dominant'.
I do think this win legitimized our team to the more negative of Gator fans, and closed out 3 games in 6 days, and ended the streak you spoke about. It's a very good win. But the best over basically a 3-year period? I'll pass on that sort of hyperbole.
