What an awesome game. Both teams played great games.
Alabama
It sure looked like when Tebow threw the one-hop to end the Gator's first drive in the 3rd quarter, and Alabama went down and scored that it was going to be tough for Florida to stop Alabama's run.
Antwine (47) and Patchan (71) were already out, and now Trattou's (94) knee was brothering him. But even though the defensive line was thin THEY STEPPED UP when they needed to.
Florida
What a drive that Tebow (15) orchestrated when the Gators were behind 20 to 17. Unbelievable catches the entire game by Carl Moore (16), David Nelson (83), Aaron Hernandez (81) and Riley Cooper (11). Without Percy Harvin (1), The Gator running backs Demps (2) and James (25) and Moody (21) really stepped up. Our offensive line is just terrific and the corner backs and safeties played outstanding except for that first long pass. Janoris Jenkins (29) and Joe Haden (5) make unbelievable plays to break up long passes. When Cunningham (49) and Spikes (51) started getting in there to pressure the quarterback the game was over. Go Gators!!! 31 to 20 (beating the spread of 10).
(The Gators win the SEC, going to Miami to play Oklahoma; and Tebow with that performance probably won the Heisman!)
