So I'm watching the US Army All-American high school game, and the past two recruits who have declared went to Florida, LB Jon Bostic and OL Xavier Nixon. Nixon picked up a Miami hat at first, then tossed it aside and put on the Florida one. Has anyone else heard anything much about our recruiting class for next year?

Yes my friend from Undergrad here at UF is going to start writing some recruiting update blogs. And if any other administrators read this, I am going to write a recap of the UF-NC St. Bball game tomorrow.

Great pick up. Hopefully he and Nu'Keese Richardson can have an impact next year as freshmen with Louis Murphy graduating and Percy Harvin likely leaving for the NFL.

dont count on freshman too heavily, sure a couple will be impact guys, but a lot of gaps will be filled by the david nelson, louis murphy "late" bloomer types... deonte thompson has gotten playing time but hasnt beena threat, not knowing a ton about the incoming freshmen id say he has a better chance than most of them to contribute significantly next year. just look at which hot shots we were promoting 3 years ago, see which ones havent busted through left, and you have a good list to start with for 'who is going to fill the harvin/murphy void'.

also, given his JC track record, and the year to adjust, I say watch out for Carl Moore.
