On Cowherd this morning.

This is supposedly based on winning percentage, etc. And he claims to have taken into account 'doing more with less' and 'performance in big games'. Here's the 10:

1. Patriots
2. Spurs
3. USC football
4. Colts
5. Lakers
6. Steelers
7. Red Sox
8. Pistons
9. LSU football
10. UF basketball

I was pleased he gave Billy D some props. But displeased USC was so high. LSU and USC tied for national titles, UF has more. USC has more conference titles, but they dominate that conference/region of the country and so don't have the same 'degree of difficulty' of LSU or UF in my mind. Presumably Oklahoma got left off because of their habit of losing BCS games recently, though they also have an impressive overall winning percentage and have won lots of conference titles. And the Big 12 is definitely over the Pac 10. Regardless, I think we can agree there is a huge drop off between 2 and 3.

Thoughts?

Should that be "more with less"? If it's less with more, it would have to be the Detroit Lions

I think the Lions is 'less with less'.

The Knicks would be 'less with more', right?

good catch.

This list is garbage. As much as I hate the Red Sox, they should be higher up than USC, the Colts and the Steelers. And I don't know how USC is so high up the list but our football team isn't even listed. I think it would be more appropriate to put UF Athletics and then we would be near or at the top of the list.
