Off topic (but sort of 'on topic': Mattison's been a coach for longer than Meyer, is he really the 'Urban Meyer coaching tree'? Give Urban credit for Mullen, Whittingham, etc... but I don't think Mattison counts.
Follow up question: Would Charlie Strong count? He was a DC and our DC before joining up with Urban...
hmmmm. I don't think Mattison counts (good point), but Charlie Strong was on nobody's coaching radar before Meyer 'Tebow smashed' us to the first championship.
