Wow. Just wow.

Incredible quotes. Talks a little about Zook v. Meyer, but just listen to what he says about the state of the program. Also, he really loves Percy Harvin.

I was suprised to see how much respect he still has for Ron Zook. Considering the success he saw when Meyer came into the program you might think someone that came in when he did might have had some animosity towards the Zooker. I guess he was the one that brought him in, but I really wasn't expecting the comments about how he thought it wasn't the coaching that led to the comparatively bad years during the Zook era

I actually thought he didn't say that many nice things about Zook, but he's not going to go bash the guy.

Also, I think when he said 'it's not coaching' it was a little misleading, because then he talks about how Meyer cleaned house and controls the program an entirely different way. It's pretty clear he thinks Meyer is better at being the head coach of the program, which also could be because he had been a head coach previously. We were Zook's learning curve.

Some people are cut out to be guys at the top, and as much as I hated the way Zook was treated by Gators fans, and by the University, it is pretty clear we would not have been able to enjoy anything approaching this sort of success with the guy.

The main takeaway I got was in the way Casey claims to talk to recruits. Made my entire day.

His take on the Tebow "promise" really puts meat to the players' perspective. And I LOVE the recruiting comments. No wonder we've lost a couple of "I/Me"-type players.

A great picture of a player's commitment to Urban's Way.
