This link was posted on the Gator Nation Update today, but I wanted to highlight it. I like this guy's attitude...I may be a little biased

QUOTE:
10. Florida, Score: 0.6990

Shhhhhhh, here's your relative sleeper for the national championship. The offense is starting to come together and the defense is improving at just the right time. Helping the cause is a tough enough schedule to make the computers happier. At the moment, the non-humans don't like the Gators, but the humans are on board. If Urban Meyer's boys win out and get a Penn State loss and/or a two-loss Big 12 champion, they'll leapfrog everyone and will get into the show for the second time in three years.

Predicted wins:Kentucky, vs. Georgia, at Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Citadel, at Florida State, SEC Championship (projected to be LSU)
Predicted losses: None
Predicted record: 11-1
Predicted bowl: BCS Championship
Toughest test: Georgia

Mark Schlabach has a differing opinion. Although he thinks we'll win our division, ultimately we'll lose to Alabama in the SEC championship game.

I really believe Florida can win all the games they have left, and make it to the SEC championship. Especially if we play the same way like we did against LSU!

In Chris Lows SEC chat on ESPN, some Bama fans were getting mad that we're getting 'too much love as a darkhorse for the title'.

It's like 'uh, when you're 10th,a nd people think you can win, thats a darkhorse... when you're 2nd, you're no longer a dark horse'.

Also, I'd like to control our own destiny. Stupid Ole Miss and their greased up footballs.

'Bama is just riding on luck right now, no way they should really be ranked 2nd.

It's not like we're sneaking up on anyone. A lot of the commentators are picking us to jump from 10th to 2nd already.

I don't like this because overhyped teams usually go down to a lesser team who plays harder to show their stuff on national TV (see: all #2 teams losing last year). Even though we're #10 now, we're becoming pretty hyped. And by the way, when was the last time everyone's mid-season "darkhorse" actually advanced to a championship game?

Dammit, stop hyping the Gators this early!

The thought that any team wouldn't play hard to upset us is absurd. Being "hyped" is all well and good, but performance is where we need to focus.

In reality, we are a longshot. If Texas wins this weekend, they should be set until the Big 12 championship game, probably against Missouri, who they trounced. Penn St has Iowa and Michigan St. Yeah I wouldn't be scared about them either...

If Texas loses this weekend, but wins out and wins the Big 12 championship, I think they'll still make it over us, sadly.

I disagree, I think we'd still be ahead of them in the human polls, and that's 2/3 of the BCS.
