Jeremy Foley kept up with his recent hiring trends and hired a young, energetic coach (considered a ‘rising star’) as the new Florida Gators women’s golf coach- Jan Dowling. Now, we love all things Gators- and Lady Gators- and link to any and all news to keep our readers informed. But women’s golf doesn’t usually lead our front page at gatorsfirst.com.
In should be noted that I think Jeremy Foley is the best AD in the nation. And I realize most people who write for a website based on their alma mater would say that about their guy. But it’s hard to argue with his across-the-board success. And it should also be noted that his assistant AD, Mike Speigler, is starting to get a lot of attention for doing work towards recent hires (like this one). There are probably a lot of words I could write providing the merits of the way our entire athletic department is run.
But the more pressing question I’ve been trying to answer this week:
Is she hot?
Considering I live in Texas, and a women’s golf hiring does not get the coverage of one in the revenue sports, I’ve had about 4 pictures to go on. 3 of which are from a few years back when she was a contestant on a reality show on the Golf Channel.
Maybe I should be like Clay Travis and start an ‘Our golf coach is hotter than your golf coach’ facebook group, because, at the least, it’s a contest we’d all like to judge. Maybe we should open it up to all coaches, since (at least going back to my days in high school around them) golf coaches aren’t the first place you look for hotties.
So, I’m writing this to hopefully get some input from those more ‘in the know’… is our new golf coach hot?
