National Signing Day is in full swing, and the Florida Gators have the consensus #1 class.

The day so far has lacked the sort of negative excitement that we all woke up this morning wary of, and the LOIs have all come in on schedule.  Gators First recruiting correspodent DK_Thompson predicted a day where we would not lose any of our commits, and we picked up Adrian Coxson (WR our of Baltimore) and Darrin Kitchens (LB from Homestead, FL).

The only expected addition is OL Chaz Green, and his announcement will not come until 3-3:30 pm ET.

7:07am, WR Chris Dunkley first LOI in.  Via his facebook status: I WAS THE FIRST TO SEND MY LOI TO UF JUST TO LET THEM KNOW I MEAN WAT I SAY AND IM COMIN IN TO DO DAMAGE NEXT YEAR

Recruits cannot sign until 7am in their time zone, which meant we were waiting on final word on DE Ronald Powell until later in the day.  ATH Travon Van was also not expected to formally send his letter until later in the day.  Powell came in around 11 am (ET) and Van was in before noon ET as well.

Kitchens and Coxson were not commited previously, but came in later in the day, meaning our class currently totals 24 players.

One of the other main stories of the day is how Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators are now able to get players out of Dade County, which has been historically dominated by the University of Miami.  Ajagbe, Kitchens, Trail, and Dunbar are all prospects from Dade County.
