What will be the mindset of the Florida Gators as the host the South Carolina Gamecocks this evening?  Are they going to be focused coming off a big road win at Arkansas?

Will their limited depth be an issue in the second half?  How is their conditioning?

We should learn something about this team's focus, will to win, and their leadership by the way they not only come out of the locker room, but how they fight through possible fatigue in the second half.

Devan Downey is a great player, and we will be fighting for SEC East position with them all year.  Home court is a huge thing, and we have to capitalize, because winning in Columbia will be extremely tough.  He has the ability to single-handedly win games for the Gamecocks.  I'm terrified of him going off, and our guards will have a tough time dealing with him.

What is my prediction?  We should win, given that the game is in Gainesville.

And that short turnaround thing?  Last Saturday, the 4 SEC teams that played on the prior Thursday went 3-1, the lone loss being Auburn losing to Kentucky (probably doesn't matter if Auburn had a month to prepare for that one).  If anything, maybe the short turnaround gets our team's attention, and they come into the game more focused.  It certainly seemed to work last week for SEC teams facing the same schedule.
