How to score free tickets PDF Print E-mail

With signing day wrapped up, and the Gator basketball team on a bye this weekend, I’d like to take a step back to do something I don’t normally do: pimp a website not named gatorsfirst.com.

Eventchaser.com is an awesome concept. They provide discounted tickets to the bloggers on their website. So how does it all work?

If you’ve ever looked for tickets on the internet, you’ve probably heard of razorgator. They provide tickets to sporting events, concerts, really anything you can think of. They even help you find information and other things to do, if you’re visiting a new place. Well, as I live in Dallas, you can expect me to write about Mavericks games soon, and I will be getting the tickets free from eventchaser! In fact, they have any number of NBA tickets, or any other sport/concert/event, you can check for yourself.  All they ask in exchange is a recap of the experience of attending the game for their website. Now, if the Gators can make the Final Four, maybe I can use them to score some great tickets…

How to score free tickets

I first saw this a few days ago, and thought, yeah right, free tickets for something like that? O.k., what's the catch? I am of the persuasion that whereas, if it is to good to be true, well you know. I checked it out and went through the process with Eventchaser.com, submitted my blog, and today, 2/12/09, Fedex was knocking on my door with two tickets for the Daytona 500. I started working on this on Monday night, and here it is Thursday, and I already have my tickets in hand. I am not talking about the cheap seats either. I am sitting on the start/finish line in Campbells box, with chair seats, J 1 and 2 on row 7. Tickets were $160.00 a piece, and they sent me two. I can't thank you all enough. Thanks for passing this along to the people that are members on this site. You continue to be bar superior to Alligator Army, or Orange/Blue Hue. I am also getting lined up hopefully with some tickets to the TPC Sawgrass, as well as The Masters. Here is the link to my blog if you care to check it out. Thanks for this wonderful service. dantheg8r http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/13026157/13493236

I coordinated Mavericks tickets with the eventchaser folks last Thursday afternoon, by lunchtime Friday FedEx gave me tickets.

I went to the Mavericks v Celtics game last night... it was a great game if anyone caught TNT.

Once I have a few moments this weekend, I'll be posting a blog on the experience... so check back for that!
