Gators in the NFL Update

Following Gators football is a little painful right now. So maybe this is a good time to spend your Sports Betting Dime on Gators in the NFL. There were 17 former Gators that played in the NFL week 10. 13 of them were starters. Sharrif Floyd made his first start at nose tackle for the Vikings. In the same game, Jordan Reed caught an 11-yard TD pass for the Redskinsto putting them up 17-14 over the Vikings. Riley Cooper scored two TDs for the Eagles, one was a 45-yard touchdown pass. The four Gators on the Browns, Chiefs, Patriots and Jets were on bye this past week.

BALTIMORE RAVENS
Matt Elam: Got three tackles, two solo, including one TFL and a pass breakup, starting at FS.
Deonte Thompson: Saw some action at WR, but nothing to report.

CINCINNATI BENGALS
Carlos Dunlap: Started at LDE, for the second-straight game he caused a fumble, had five tackles, three solo, 2.0 sacks for a total loss of 17 yards and two QB hits.
Reggie Nelson: Made four tackles, three solo, with one TFL, starting at FS.

CHICAGO BEARS
Major Wright: Six tackles, four were solo, starting at SS.
Jon Bostic: Also had six tackles, three were solo, starting at MLB. Wright and Bostic tied for team-leadingnumber of tackles.

CLEVELAND BROWNS
Joe Haden: Bye.

DENVER BRONCOS
Andre Caldwell: Played at WR, but no stats recorded.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Jeremy Mincey: Played at DL and contributed with four tackles, one solo.
Josh Evans: Started at FS and had five tackles, three were solo.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Jaye Howard: bye.

MIAMI DOLPHINS
Mike Pouncey: Started at C.
Mike Gillislee: Sat out in week 10.
Caleb Sturgis: Went 2-2 in FG attempts against the Bucs.
Jelani Jenkins: Also sat out.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Sharrif Floyd: Made his first pro start at nose tackle, and he contributed with two assists.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Brandon Spikes: Bye.

NEW YORK GIANTS
Will Hill: Made the start at FS and recorded three tackles, one solo, with one tackle on special teams.

NEW YORK JETS
David Nelson: Bye.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Riley Cooper: Was a starting WR, he had five receptions for 102 yards and scored a team-leading two touchdowns, including catching a 45-yard TD pass.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Marcus Gilbert: Was the starting RT.
Maurkice Pouncey: Suffered a season-ending torn ACL and MCL during the Steelers’ opening possession of their season opener.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Ray McDonald: Made the start at LDT, and made two solo tackles.
Jermaine Cunningham: Was not active in week 10.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Percy Harvin: Was injured, so not active week 10.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Jeff Demps: Was not active in week 10.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS
Rex Grossman: Was not active in week 10.
Maurice Hurt: Was not active in week 10.
Jordan Reed: Started for the Redskins at TE and recorded six catches for 62 yards, catching an 11-yard TD pass to put the Redskins up 17-14 over the Vikings.
